People in a small area of Ga-Rankuwe Zone 1 in Pretoria are living in fear after a big baboon stormed into a local tavern and stole booze.
The Daily Sun newspaper reported that the baboon then drank the booze and left the tavern to sit on the wall outside.
The strange baboon has not only been accused of stealing booze, but is known for ambushing people’s houses and stealing food and pots.
Inspector Matlou from SPCA has urged the people of Ga-Rankuwe to report the matter to the Nature Conservation office, which will trap the baboon and remove it from the community.
